Edvard Munch

Edvard Munch is coming to New York City… no, obviously not the person, but his art… and a whole lot of it. We know his famous work, The Scream, which was recently stolen, and almost was tracked down as I mention in my earlier post but he really was Much More Than a Scream.  I can’t wait to see this show.  I’ve always liked his work.  When I was in Baltimore several years ago I saw a print show of his.  He work is so full of passion and are sensual.  I love how you can see his hand touch with each brush stroke, he’s not trying to cover anything up like the masters did.  I’m almost as excited as when the Pixar exhibit came to town, but nothing can touch my love for Pixar.  I’m so glad that I live in the New York area so I can see these exhibitions.  March will be a big month with the Whitney Biennial, which I have never been to, and other big events happening in NYC.  I’m slowly thinking that it’s not so bad to be here in New Jersey…
